September Guest Count

This month we welcomed 96 people from FORTY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. For the first time in two years we saw 2 people from Belarus! 

This is exciting because we are seeing people represented from all over the world in hopes of building a better life here in the United States. Casa de Paz is honored to play a small role in their migration, and facilitating a safe space while they continue on to the next part of their journey.

For October, we've already seen 50 people from 15 different countries! Please take a look below at how you can support us.

October 26th: Día de Los Muertos at the Civic Center "Remembering our Ancestors through Art"
11:00AM - 7:00PM. Free! Come check out our altar!

November 1st: CO GIVES DAY early giving starts!

We are so thankful to all of groups that supported us in various way last month!

Thank you Melissa T. who coordinated a Girl Scout Cookie Donation drop off for Troop 61048. Thank you Harper, Lily, Parvati, and Gwennan - four amazing 10th graders who have been together as a troop since 1st grade!

Thank you Linda McMillin from Christ the Servant Lutheran Church for coordinating for your members to assemble backpacks for Casa! 

Thanks to members of First Lutheran Church in Longmont who also assembled backpacks for Casa! This group is further from Casa but wanted to get involved, so our volunteer Beth was able to pick those up and facilitate pick up and delivery!  

Thanks to members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont who also assembled and delivered backpacks to Casa!

Employees from S&P Global came out during their Volunteering Day to Casal They spent the day at Casa helping us organize, build backpacks, and welcome the folks that were released from detention that day. Thanks Jenell W. for coordinating this event!

Thanks to members of St. John's Cathedral who came in during a Saturday morning to help us with organizing and putting together items for our guests!

We are truly thankful for everyone's donations, time, and efforts, We could not do this without the support from our community. Thank you!
